Prof. Veljko Krstonošić, PhD, and Asst. Prof. Nebojša Pavlović, PhD, from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad, delivered a workshop “Application of Rheology in Clinical Medicine” on 19 February 2026 at the Faculty of Medicine in Osijek.
The workshop provided an overview of the latest insights into the rheological properties of blood and their role in the physiology and pathology of the cardiovascular system. Using a science‑popular approach, the fundamental principles of rheology and their diagnostic and prognostic significance were presented.
The event enabled interdisciplinary collaboration between the MEFOS and MFUNS teams and facilitated knowledge transfer in the fields of rheology, digital medicine, and cardiovascular disease prevention. The workshop was attended by physicians and researchers.
