As part of the BloodRheoApp Project activities, a public lecture entitled “Blood Rheology – From Fundamentals to Clinical Applications” was held by Prof. Veljko Krstonošić and Asst. Prof. Nebojša Pavlović on 16 March, 2026 at the Faculty of Medicine Novi Sad.
The audience had the opportunity to learn about the importance of blood rheology in modern diagnostics and its growing role in personalized therapy. The lecture covered key measurement methods, challenges and opportunities for clinical translation, as well as a broader perspective on rheological approaches in other biological systems, including tears and synovial fluid.
Through this interactive session, it was highlighted how rheology connects fundamental science with real-world healthcare solutions.
